The very definition of wearable art, the Valentina Strap features an intricate textile, meticulously handwoven on a back-strap loom by incredibly talented weavers in Guatemala.

The art of back-strap weaving is deeply rooted in the rich cultural heritage of Guatemala and is an important way of preserving indigenous traditions and artistry.

This design was inspired by traditional patterns and motifs from the home towns of our partner weavers and given a modern twist.

  • Full grain leather backing and finishings
  • Solid brass hardware
  • Non-adjustable and available in 3 lengths : 40", 43", 46" (including clips)
  • Transform it into a camera strap by adding our solid brass converter rings

Made to order by our artisan team in Guatemala and ready to ship in four weeks.

Our straps are woven by hand in the homes of our weavers in remote areas of the highlands of Guatemala. It couldn’t be further from factory-style mass production and means that each strap will have distinct characteristics and unique touches, so please expect a small degree of variation between each strap. It is one of the things we treasure most about these magnificent pieces of art.

If you'd like guidance on the best length to order to wear with one of our bag styles just send us a message.

Each of our leather products has its own beautifully unique character, tone and markings which are the hallmarks of the premium, natural leather we use. No two leather hides are ever identical so you should expect a small degree of variation between the product photos you see here and the beautifully unique bag you will receive.

We recommend that you clean and condition your leather items regularly and treat them with a water-protectant to prevent staining.

Find more information on how to care for our leathers here.
