Shipping

We currently ship to the US, Guatemala, Canada and Europe and offer free shipping on orders over $200. Canadian and European orders will incur taxes & customs fees upon entry into your country. Find all the details below...

Most of our products ship direct to you from Guatemala with either DHL Express or UPS which both offer a very fast, reliable and fully tracked service.

Your phone number is required at checkout to help shipping go as smoothly as possible.

Amara is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. If you provided us with the wrong shipping address we are not liable to give a refund or replacement of the product that you purchased. Please use your tracking number and contact the shipping provider directly with any queries regarding delayed or non-delivered parcels. 

Orders for ready-made items will ship within 2 business days

Made-to-order items will take up to 10 business days to hand make and will ship within 2 days of completion

Pre-order completion times vary, but you will be able to find full details in the pre-order product listing

We offer free shipping on all US orders over $200.

Most products ship direct from Guatemala, but some ready-made items may be sent from the US.

Parcels from Guatemala will ship with DHL Express or UPS and will normally take 3-4 business days to arrive after processing. You will receive a tracking number and can track your parcel via the DHL or UPS website.

Parcels shipping domestically will be sent with USPS and normally take 3-4 business days to arrive after processing.

We offer free shipping to Canada and Europe on orders over $200.

Please note that your order will incur taxes and customs fees on arrival to your country. Please factor these extra costs into your purchase before placing your order.

We do not have the facilities to be able to accept returns or exchanges on products shipped to Canada or Europe at this time so all purchases are final sale.

Within Guatemala we offer free delivery with Guatex on all orders.

Parcels take 1-2 business days to arrive after processing.

US orders will not incur customs fees or taxes but orders to Canada and Europe will, so please factor these extra costs into your purchase before placing your order.

Amara Collective is not responsible for these fees and cannot determine how much they will be. These taxes are determined by the destination country and are not included in the price of our products or shipping.

All duties and taxes must be paid at the time of delivery and these fees are the responsibility of the customer. Failure to pay them will result in your parcel being abandoned. Refusal to pay customs fees are not grounds for a refund.

Each country's policies and fees are different and we cannot offer specific advice on the fees or policies of your country.

The customs documents that accompany your purchase will state the full amount you paid for the purchased product/s.

Returns

If for some reason you're unhappy with your purchase, we can offer you store credit to spend on something else from Amara. We are only able to accept returns to a US or Guatemalan address at this time so unfortunately UK and Canadian sales are non-returnable.

All of our items are made by hand and the majority are also made to order especially for you. We therefore cannot accept order cancellations.

We offer store credit on all full-price, non-personalized items within 14 days of delivery in the US and Guatemala only.

We are currently unable to accept returns in Canada or Europe.

All merchandise must be returned in the exact condition in which it was shipped in order to qualify.

Shipping and handling charges are non refundable and the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

If you'd like to return an item for store credit please contact hello@amara-collective.com within 14 days of receiving your item. We will send you to our returns portal where you can generate a shipping label and organize your return quickly and easily.

UPON RECEIPT OF RETURNED GOODS, AMARA COLLECTIVE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DENY THE RETURN IF IT DOES NOT MEET THE COMPANY RETURN POLICY REQUIREMENTS.

Items that have been personalized through our monogramming service or customized especially for you (incuding custom sizing, colors and materials) can not be returned. By personalizing a product you are choosing to have something made especially and uniquely for you and those sales are final and non-returnable.

All sale items are final sale. No returns are accepted on discounted items.
